Do you want to unplug and relax in nature? Come on a “Nature Bathing Walk” at the ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary. Join Naturalist and Certified Nature Therapy Guide Desiree Romero on a guided walk through the sanctuary and allow your natural sense of wonder to take you to a mindful space. Desiree will help you quiet your busy mind, connect with your senses, and even boost your immune system during this unique experience!
We will walk (less than 1 mile) and take stops along the way to engage in playful, “invitations,” activities to deepen our connection with the outside world and ourselves. One of our stops includes a space for guided meditation, “pleasures of presence,” guiding you to open and truly engage your senses.
Our walk will end with a tea ceremony of reciprocity. A segue from the special, quiet space we share on our walk, back to the busy world.
Please wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection, and bring a reusable water bottle filled with water. A yoga mat or portable chair is recommended. Expect to quiet your cellphone.
Recommended for ages 10 and older. No experience necessary!
We will begin in the picnic area of the ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a 1.5-hour program. Please note that adverse weather may cancel the program.
Participation in our Nature Bathing Walks is donation-based. Registration is still required so we can plan accordingly and contact you in the event of any changes or cancellations.
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
